Pastor Alex, I appreciate your winsome candor even though I mostly disagree with your position. I do not believe advocating for clarity means desiring uniformity. Both camps seems to be talking past one another.

Can you help me with something?

You mentioned that your Women's Leadership Team "teaches Bible studies, organize(s) discipleship efforts, advise(s) our elders, enter(s) into difficult shepherding matters, and more."

How are those responsibilities not authoritative?

Are there any responsibilities your elders engage in that does not involve the Women's Leadership Team?
